Ingredients Serving: 4 pieces
- 2 baby bok choy, halved
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 inch piece of ginger, minced
- 1tbsp sriracha
- 4 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 1 tbsp miso paste
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
Instructions
Heat the sesame oil in a medium size pan, once warm add the garlic and ginger, stir and sauté for at least 3 minutes, until fragrant. Next add the miso paste, soy sauce and sriracha and cook until you get a slightly thick sauce. Add a little more soy sauce if needed.
Next brush the bok choy with the sauce and place cut side down on the pan, cover and cook on medium-high heat for at least 5 minutes or until the bok choy begins to char.
Remove from the pan and plate, scrap the remaining sauce and caramelized garlic and ginger and drizzle/sprinkle on top of the bok choy. Serve by its self or on top of rice. Enjoy!
